Infant & Paediatric First Aid

This course is aimed at parents, parents to be, grandparents and anyone trusted with the special responsibility of caring for a young child. This is a non accredited course and is child specific. The aim of this course is to empower you and equip you with the skills and confidence needed to care for a child in a medical emergency.  The course length is 2.5 hours including plenty of time to practice the skills learnt.

Our infant and paediatric first aid course covers many common medical conditions that a child in your care may face including;

– Anaphylaxis & Allergies

– Asthma

– Bleeding

– Burns

– Choking

– Fractures

– Stings and Bites

– Meningitis

– Meningococcal disease

– Croup

– Whooping Cough

– Febrile convulsions

– Poisoning

– Basic Life Support

You will have time to practice on the manikins and time will be provided for questions and answers.  Babies are welcome to attend any of our sessions.

This course is non-accredited and participants will receive a Statement of Attendance only.
