Work Safely in the Construction Industry (Construction Induction) is required by Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) laws for all people working in the construction industry in Australia, and is recognised in all states and territories. This training course allows participants to develop basic skills and knowledge relating to industry specific risk management and Workplace Health and Safety requirements and obligations. On completion of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate a variety of elements, including duty of care, incident reporting and managing risks and hazards.
The Victorian Workcover Authority mandates that this course is delivered in face-to-face format over a 6 hour period.
On completion of the course, we will provide an interim statement of attainment valid for 60 days from the date of training. An accredited plastic card will then be posted to individuals direct from Worksafe Victoria.
